Created in 1986, The Canadian Commercial Arbitration Centre (also known as the "CCAC" or the "Centre") is a private but non-profit organization. Its head office is located in Québec City and it provides its services from its offices in Québec City and Montréal. CCAC services are available in French or English and its documentation is trilingual: English, French and Spanish. Its mission is to resolve business disputes outside the traditional framework offered by courts of law, i.e. by various alternate dispute resolution methods, namely arbitration and mediation, as the case may be. Owing to its unique regulatory supervision in both arbitration and mediation, the Centre is positioned to offer its clientele customized follow-ups and quality service in an atmosphere of security, transparency and confidentiality.
